The factory driver of Tony Kart took part in the second round of the European Karting Championships in the OK Junior category on the last weekend of May. The competition was held in French Aunay-les-Bois. Jan started in the third series of the Qualifying Practice, where he was 10th with a time of 48,193. Out of the total number of 82 competitors, Janek took 38th place and was assigned to group B. Then the competitor from Rossoszyca took part in five Heats, so there was a lot of racing. In the first of them, Janek took 17th place, making up for losses after falling to the 21st position. In the second Heat, Tony Kart driver finished P11, completing a much less complicated run. In the next race, Jan maintained an upward trend, from the 13th position at the start, he was promoted very quickly to P6! At the end of a long Saturday day, Jan raced in groups B and E, where he finished 11th.

At the beginning of the Sunday competition, Janek still had to fight in Heat AB, where he took 12th place. In total, after 5 demanding races, Tony Kart racer was 27th out of 82 competitors. We were already rubbing our hands at the thought of competing in the OK Junior final, when Jan was eliminated from the competition already in the first lap. It’s a shame it ended like this this weekend, but it’ll be better next time. Thank you for cheering!
